As Project Manager, you will plan, coordinate, and execute customer projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in line with contractual requirements. As the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, you will work closely with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes. The role is based in Iceland and requires frequent international travel to customer sites to ensure project implementation. If you thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment where innovation is part of everyday work, we'd love to hear from you.   Key Responsibilities Lead customer projects from kick-off through commissioning and handover to Service. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and key milestones. Act as the primary customer contact throughout project execution. Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Software, Production, Sales, and Service. Monitor project progress, risks, costs, and deliverables, ensuring projects remain on schedule and within scope. Coordinate third-party suppliers and subcontractors where applicable. Manage project documentation, reporting, and change requests. Coordinate engineering deliverables, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), installation, commissioning, Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), training, and final handover. Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to proactively resolve challenges. Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and documentation. Conduct project evaluations and lessons learned to support continuous improvement. Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience Master's/Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Software, or a related field. Proven experience managing technical or industrial projects. Experience working in agile project environments. Project Management certification (PMI, IPMA, or equivalent) is an advantage. Experience within the aluminium industry is beneficial. Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage. Skills & Characteristics Strong leadership and organizational skills.
